Lavender Chocolate-Dipped Winesicles

Adding substance to the wine such as orange juice and lime soda, ensures that the popsicles freeze nicely and taste great! 

Adapted from www.smartschoolhouse.com

Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup of orange juice (with full pulp)
  • 1 cup of lime soda
  • 2 cups of red wine
  • 3-4 Bars of Lavender Chocolate (approx. 4.5 oz)
  • Wax paper 
  • Baking sheet pan
  • Large bowl
  • Popsicle mold

Directions: 
Combine the orange juice, lime soda, and red wine in a large bowl. Pour the mixture into some popsicle molds and freeze for 3 hours. Once the winesicles are frozen, it's time to dip them in melted chocolate! Melt 3-4 bars of lavender chocolate bars (4.5 oz) in a microwave safe bowl. Do this in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Once fully melted, gently dip the top half of the winesicles into the melted chocolate and quickly place them on a baking sheet covered with wax paper. Put the baking sheet in the freezer until the winesicles are ready to be eaten!
